Re: Wynns Dip 3 and carbon clean story
Hi
I drive with enthusiasm and I have had the car since March 2010. I've put about 12,000 miles on it. Previous owner was a motorway driver.

Re: Wynns Dip 3 and carbon clean story
I felt that I wasn't getting the full 414bhp but that's just judging from previous cars I've owned (E46 M3 being one). I was getting a major service done anyway and a lot of the engine bay had been dismantled so I went ahead and got them to remove the manifold following a bore-scope examination of o...

Wynns Dip 3 and carbon clean story
Hey I finally decided to book my 2006 RS4 in for a full carbon clean. It has 70,000 miles and I reckoned it would be pretty bad. However - manifold off and yes there is carbon but not all over the valves just on the bottom. Also it's soft and moist! (still reasonably sticky and tough to get off) but...

Re: Some tyre advice please"
Thanks for the excellent advice! Really useful stuff here - I'm going to check in to the vreds - I was going with toyos but I agree on the short lasting wear of these - I'll be replacing them a lot sooner than another brand.
Thanks again!
Thanks again!

Re: HELP PLEASE WITH AIRBOX SOLENOID VALVE
Hi I had the exact same problem and the leak was being caused by a crack in the solenoid. Does your car exhaust flaps rattle for a short period when you start engine from cold? Your car will be a different machine once it's fixed. As far as I can remember it doesn't matter which goes where as a vacu...

Some tyre advice please"
Hi After some thought about moving to an e60 M5 I have decided to stick with the rs4. I need to replace the tyres and my choices are: Toyo proxes t1 (had them on an evo 8 years ago and they were great) Pirelli P Zero (had them on a BMW and wasn't too impressed but on 4wd?) Then there's bridgestone, ...

Re: Very strange problem
Hi Adsgreen, Logged into Ecu 2 this morning and code P2020 for tumble flaps on the other side was listed as implausable signal. Cleared the code and now both EPC and CEL lights are off and the car is running perfectly. I performed the airbox flap and tumble flaps output tests again and they're worki...
