Re: Delayed Start on My RS4

Hi - I'm getting the same problem - see fault code below. Also something with cooling fan (don't know if it could be linked in any way). I have a distinct feeling that it's moisture-related as it usually seems to happen in damp weather. When I get the problem I spray some WD40 around under the bonne...

Re: Driving an RS4 slowly and smoothly

What you need is an MRC Stage 2 remap.

I'm not a big modder, but this is by far the best thing I ever did. It dials down the aggression making the RS4 a joy to drive at low speeds and in traffic. Lovely quiet start too.

AND... when you hit that Sport button, it's OMFG every time!!

Re: Well, that didn't take long!!

Coyote website seems to say that it's 100% legal in France, provided you have latest version of software installed. Certainly wouldn't keep mine locked in the boot...

Don't think it's legal in Germany / Austria / Switzerland, though - but still just as useful (so I'm told).

Re: Well, that didn't take long!!

For you it would be best to go straight to their French site. Full EU coverage already included and prices look better than in UK. Also a new model out recently. I have the old one - it's just brilliant.

Re: Side light and rear number plate bulbs

I just want to be able to see better at night in standard (dipped) headlight mode. Is there any way of wiring in an extra pair of headights (e.g. R8 LEDs into our DRL housing) as a kind of supplement? Sorry in advance if this is a stupid idea - I find the standard setup to be wanting somehow...

Re: Anybody know much about the new vred vorti tires

TimDogg, Thanks for your PM and your interest... I bought the Sessantas in Belgium a little over 1 year ago - they cost something like EURO 1,300. The only motoring I did on them was a trip from Brussels to Nice and back, then Brussels to the Lake District (via MRC), then back to Brussels and on to ...

Re: Anybody know much about the new vred vorti tires

Kay - a lot quieter and a lot nicer feeling. How the situation came about is a long story connected with having to buy winters in one part of Europe (yes obliged by law) and then having to buy summers again in another. Almost none of my driving is on UK roads. Comparison is between tyres which are b...

Re: Anybody know much about the new vred vorti tires

I have had both Sessantas and GY F1 Asymmetric 2s on my car in the last 6 months. The Goodyears are a lot quieter and 'nicer' feeling without any doubt.

Re: complete cutout after a warm start- any experiences?

Taylora,

Did you ever find out what this was? I had exactly the same thing the other day. Not at all nice without proper steering or brakes - thank God I wasn't going faster. But the car re-started OK as if nothing had happened and it hasn't recurred since. Strange!

Limits 10-14 December

Picking up car from MRC this weekend after some hefty improvements. Anybody know of somewhere I can explore limits of a B7 RS4 saloon in North of England / Midlands (eventually with instructor) sometime in the period 10-14 December?

Can anyone confirm if there's going to be a 2012 DVD and if so, when it is likely to come out?

Re: Audi RS4 LED DRL kit from Germany

I have, but need to renew the card details and it will take a little while for that to go through. Alternatively I can do you a bank transfer. Would be better to do this through PMs, but I'm not sure how to send a PM (I see no options for it on this screen). Maybe you could send me one and we can ta...

I'll give you £50 for it. Will need to be posted to Belgium, though.
