Re: Electrical system 'pulsing'
Battery could be faulty causing the alternator to get a bit confused. Could also be a faulty earth mounting somewhere. Thanks. I'll check the earths. If the battery was faulty, I'd expect that to show when trying to start the car, especially after a period of not running it, but I may as well have ...

Re: Electrical system 'pulsing'
Is it the whole electrical system or just the dash illumination and bulbs? BTW the voltage regulator has been built-in to the alternator for many years. Thanks. It's only noticeable with the lights and dash illumination. Your comment about the voltage regulator, coupled with the knowledge that it's...

For sale: Reg No RS04SCO
Bought this last year for a project that never got off the ground, and now never will, so looking to sell.
RegTransfers valued it at £750, but I'm happy to let it go for £250 if anyone on here would like it.
Currently on a retention certificate until May 2013.
Cheers,
Brian

Re: Have joined the C6 club as well - a couple of questions
Have you checked the gearbox fluid level? I'm not an RS6 owner yet, but have had the symptoms you describe on other cars I've owned. All were very susceptible to having the level spot on (neither over, nor under filled).
