Re: Photos of my RS 6 Plus - Sprint Blue

Jeeezus Amar! Fair play to you...I am not sure I would love my car so much if my insurance was at that level (frankly, I would be expecting Admiral to send around naked ladies to wash the beast at that price). Hope you have some form of speed camera detector, any points could mean you could be serio...

Re: c6 brakes

Oh, thanks Bam! Nice to see it in the flesh as it were. So, completely wrong about the C6s requiring 20 inchers. Was I right about pricing?

Re: Fuel additive products...

I have never bothered...Isn't that one of the reasons why we spend all those extra pennies on V-Power? I do remember that QST use Wurth Engine Flush on their services but other than that my car hasn't seen anything else...

Re: c6 brakes

Right, I am going to be dim here.... What is on offer is the full C6 set up (including calipers). They require 20" wheels do they not? And the usual cost is £2500ish? Grizz offers a half way house "Big Brake Kit" which is the one Mooch had. That is the C6 disks but not calipers (you use your C5 cali...

I want to post a respone to this topic but can't....I simply get freaked out every time I see Mr Footlong's hilarious avatar. Should we not all just go to something similar to Bam Bam's?

Great start to the day

Blue skies and a clear run in this morning with no hold ups round Parliament Square. Dropped the wife off before going into work. On the way she said "stop driving like a boy racer". Best compliment of the week!

Re: Central London parking

From memory there is a NCP round the corner (well a couple of streets away) from the Landmark on Crawford St and that will be under half the price of the Landmark for a couple of days. I assume you are coming during the week because at the weekend you could hunt around for some single yellows post 1...

Re: Wanted RS6 Plus

PS anyone who was born in the 90s should not be allowed to drive an RS6. Most people drive a pile of poo in their 20s! And here I was thinking that we should be feeling sorry for the young of today (tuition fees, can't get a job, can't get a mortgage)...well fck that!

Re: Wanted RS6 Plus

I'm with Amar on the Cognac = bloody awesome. However, also agree that the steering wheel needs to be in black. The mats look interesting...have always be dubious about aftermarket but they look the business (and the MTM ones which I once saw on here but which I have never found for sale).

Re: The opposite running costs thread

I don't want to tempt fate!!! But... I have so far only paid for a couple of CVs, new brakes (wear and tear) and a couple of services (one at 60k being chunky) so what about £1500 in two years. I have spent another couple of grand on cosmetic work (paint correction) and tyres. I looked long and hard...

Re: Insurance help

Another thumbs up for Admiral...

Adrian Flux quoted silly numbers to me. Admiral were at £800. Low 40s, over a handful of points, mods declared, central london and over a decade of no claims.

Also try Sky Insurance (the guys on here).
