Looking at purchasing a RS4 but it has the chrome trim, which Im not that keen on. Does anyone have experience of replacing the chrome for the black optic pack ? Any idea of price ?

Re: Glorious S8
Nicky, the C63 is just a complete animal . Absoluetly wonderful car but the back end can catch you unawares at anytime. The power is phenomenal. The sound! Its just the best I have ever experienced. I would have kept it but fancied a change and fancied living to see another year! That car was going ...

Glorious S8
Just taken delivery of a fantastic 2007 Audi S8. My Merc C63 contract was up after 2 years and as I had been very lucky and have survived to tell the tale I would go for something with 4 wheel drive. Had a couple of S8 previoulsy, the older models, and an RS6 Avant. All of them great cars apart from...

Re: Rs4 sold - c63 amg purchased
I ve got a C63 , which I d agree is a great car but fancying going back to Audi RS and four wheel drive. A good RS 4 or a new style RS 6 perhaps. Had a previous RS6 which was great but had a murderous year with DRC failing twice and a gearbox replacement. Scary, so need to pick well with the next car.

Been away from the RS stable for a wee while. Had horrendous experinece with my 03 RS6 . Suspension, gearbox, Suspension again etc etc. Back again and looking to purchase a good well spec`d RS4. Avant if possible, but doesnt have to be. Low miles, and immaculate. I m up near Dundee but am happy to t...

That Landcruiser we have on lpg is a reasonably inexpensive to run vehicle now, but without the conversion it would be a thirsty nightmare. If ou are going to keep an RS6 for a few years it might be worth considerring cos the price of petrol aint going to remain at this level for long. I would certa...

RE: Nice Modification
That sounds great. Didnt think it could be done with turbos. Shows what I know. What does it cost ? I ve got a Landcruiser on lpg, 4.7l and it works superbly so I would be dead keen to look at my RS6 getting done.

Automatic Box replacement
My luverly avant has a sick box. Done 92,000. Was a bit notchy before, even lost 1st gear when it was cold at a junction once or twice. Got the oil changed and it certainly is better than it was but it still, on occasion, thumps into gear, so I think its about time to come to the enevitable truth th...
