Re: WANTED: B7 RS4 Avant, Low Miles, Sprint Blue

Happy to sell privately, or through Fontain. To the best of my knowledge no extra work under warranty. I had 1 of the oil rads done 12 months ago. not due a service for 5-6K, New discs all round 9K ago. Had them re-ground 100 miles ago by RS4 recommended disc grinding chappy, Marcus, from Cambridge ...

Re: WANTED: B7 RS4 Avant, Low Miles, Sprint Blue

Hi Crafty, Due to a new project I'm involved in, I'm now looking to sell my Sprint Blue B7 RS4. It is an 06 on a 56 plate. I am the 3rd owner, and have owned it for 2 years and this is my 3rd B7 RS4 and my 5th RS4. I always buy my cars based upon a combination of age, mileage and condition and looke...

Re: retrofit Audi Bluetooth system

Ditto the Kufatec system, cost was £225 I think and as well as the standard features of the Audi system (which it behaves exactly the same as for phone features,) it can also stream music from your phone through Bluetooth, if your phone has the functionality to do so (i-phone 4, or most smart phones...

Do you think he (presume a he!) has a flame thrower effect from the exhaust to add to the appeal?

Re: Suitable Modifications

Not sure when you had the Kufatec kit, but the one I had fitted is the new 1 with the bluetooth streaming which had some good reviews, and has been 1st class for all calls (as I say not great for music!). As for OEM, I run the OEM in my wifes Allroad and often experience interferience when connectin...

Re: Suitable Modifications

Apologies the mileage should be 56K! I did have a look at some ultra low mileage cars, but they were not in as good condition as some of the higher mileage cars including this one. Yes as Ice Coffee says it's the Kafutec kit which seems to work just like the factory phone kit (without hands free) bu...

Suitable Modifications

Hello all, I have recently come back to the RS4 B7 ownership, having owned one of the first ones back in 2006. I have also owned 2 modified B5 RS4's. (I was one of the original RS4.org members but have lost my old login details to RS246) back when a bunch of us including Bushey, Phil T, Phil D, Tano...

Re: Speed trap, Laser guns etc. Best options?

Valetine V1 and the Target LT400. V1 is one,if not the, best detector for lasers and radars and is very good at spotting any radar activity in the locality. The Target is an inert jammer, ie it remains invisible until it recieves a radar signal where-upon it defracts it before sending it back in pie...

Re: Avants holding up well

Oh and Sunroof and Sports Suspension!

I did look at some cars privately, but like the B5 market it is getting more and more tricky to sort the few good cars from the trash, and the risk of buying trash privately at the +25K mark is just too great for most.

Re: Avants holding up well

I've just re-joined the B7 avant owners, this is my 2nd B7 Avant and my 4th RS4, (I have alternated between B5's and B7's over the last few years). I had been on the look out for a B7 for a few months and Marcus at Fontain has always looked after me very well and was keeping an eye out for something...

Clubsport

Yes Silversea is bang on. From memory GMBH offered the Alacantra trim, buckets with race harness fittings, handling kit (anti-roll bar, springs and dampers) and cross-drilled brakes. These extras were NOT available on UK cars, I did however persuade Audi UK to spec mine with High tech (normal) seats...

Vehicle build numbers

The only way that the original owners of the B5's knew the build numbers was in the original confirmation letter that Audi sent out after we ordered the cars. I have the one that was sent to Phil (for the car I now own), and I passed the one i got for my car on to the dealership when they bought it ...
