Easy
I find the RS4 to be easy to drive..... it is completely smooth and clean take up on the clutch and gear changes etc...... far easier to drive than my wifes 1.9tdi which stalls soooooo easy. Suggest you get the stealers to give it a thorough check. Has the dealer got another RS4 you could test drive...

One more question
One more question......
Anybody know the part number for the centre console and is there only the one colour option on it?
p.s Paired Sony Ericsson w890i to RNS-E via bluetooth, phone book works, calling works - dont know if someone wants to add this to the list of compatible phones.

Cheers Dave Will take great pleasure in advising their 'master tech' - they need to upgrade from 0550 to 0650...... as per usual they claimed 'never heard of that problem before......' even told them to go and try it on another RS4 they had in the garage - as they claimed mine was affected by an aft...

They said it was not suppose to do that! who was i to complain at getting a new RNS-E. I was led to believe that it was fixed volume but if you went into engineering mode (in nav mode, top left button 5 secs, top right button 5 secs) and set the volume there it would keep it - but no joy on that eit...

oops messup my post
what i meant to say was
if I am in mix mode and then go forward one track, it goes forward one track (non-randomly) and also seems to cancel mix mode - at least the 'mix' stops being orange in colour.

RNS-E Mix and Forward one track
Does the latest update version of RNS solve the problem where if you are in 'mix' mode (i.e Random) and playing a CD , if you press the button to go forward a track , it goes forward randomly rather than choosing the next track on the CD? if so which version. Audi techs at the stealers would not bel...

back again - i think
This morning mine was showing signs of lumpy cold start again....... will let you know over the next couple of weeks (off skiing tonight yippee!) how it goes. May try disconnecting battery for an hour or so and see if it does a reset of engine parameters as mentioned earlier in the thread.

Mine was in for 3 weeks and I am still not particularly happy with it...... but, as long as it doesn't get too bad, I am just going to live with it - since there seems no real fix , or at least not one that all dealers and AUDI UK agree upon. Seems to me like you are being fed some bullsh1t as regar...

Good to hear Dave. So are you still running 0080 , or did they revert it to 0050? Got mine back after nearly 3 weeks - it is reasonably smooth first thing in the mornings now - but to me doesn't seem quite as perky as before - might just be me - maybe I need to give it a damn good thrashing Still wa...
