Re: The modding begins

Hi
How are you getting on with all the mods?
I'm contemplating a valved Milltek for my V8 S5 Tip and also a remap. Would consider spacers but slightly nervous...
Any advise would be great!

Milltek for auto box!

Heard from my local tuning guy that Milltek are soon to bring out a valved system for tiptronic S5, anyone heard similar?
Think I'll go for a remap when she's in also...will show videos of before and after.

Squeaky brakes

Anyone found a solution to squeaky brakes?
Car's only done 18k so shouldn't be pads.
Any help would be appreciated :beerchug:

Exhaust advise please

Quite fancy a Milltek for my S5 but so far drawn a blank as it's tiptronic.
Had a non-res Milltek on an RS4...great but got a bit fed up with the drone!!
I would really appreciate some advise from anyone who has replaced the stock exhaust.
Cheers

Quick question

Having just come out of a B7 RS4 Avant and into a B8 S5 Coupe I was wondered if any of my learned friends had any thoughts or advise on remapping the S5...is it worth it or not?

Matthew
Not sure as to official colour as the dealership advertised it mistakenly as black nappa! May be light silver but I'll confirm later.
Thanks for the comments, I was unsure about the Sepang but glad I went for it, even looks good dirty!

Ta Ta RS4

After 3 years of trouble free and proud ownership I had to say goodbye to my beloved 07 Black RS4 Avant. After a recent dealership service they informed me that within the next few months the discs, pads and tyres would need to be replaced....at a cost of £3.5K. After much deliberation I decided to ...

Parking Aid

Finally gave in and called Audi to fix my failed parking sensors. They quoted £90 diagnostic charge then parts and labour and booked me in in 3 weeks time. Doing the maths I figured somewhere in the region of £300 + vat. worst case...sod that! I called a local garage who didn't charge for the diagno...

DRC

Bought mine 12 months ago and it's been without doubt the most enjoyable 12 months driving I've had after 29 years behind the wheel. I've been off and on this excellent website but because of all the negative posts regarding shocks and DRC I find myself waiting for the 'knocks' to come from the fron...
