Re: Not an RS, but a thing of beauty
Apparently it comes back in at 70mph to reduce drag.

Re: New Boxster GTS
It's been in for detailing since Wednesday, pick it back up this afternoon. First 100 miles were great, but was told not to exceed 5000rpm for first few 100 miles then gradually use all the range. So far I have been really happy with it, I can't see that changing anytime soon. Never had a new car be...

Re: New Boxster GTS
Arrived yesterday, I love it.
Was genuinely worried about PDK, but it's wonderful. I agree it will never have the involvement of manual, but it's very very good in its own right.

Re: New Boxster GTS
Cheers Dave,
Yes you should have taken it easily, but I think you have quite a lot of extra horses.
Just been watching your Scotsburg Ring video, reminds me of last year on the bikes (awesome).
I love the colour of your F Type, really classy.
Keep up the good work.

Re: New Boxster GTS
Yes, would have loved factory collection. It was open to me too, but one major problem. The time of year says that winter tyres must be fitted if weather is poor enough. You are only allowed to drive your car away if weather is suitable, and March can be a bit iffy. I'm self employed, so an extra da...

Re: New Boxster GTS
Cheers bud,
Not sure yet on the 6's.
OPC thinks that the 718 Boxster/Cayman will be an upgraded version of the 2.5 flat 4, but no definitive answer yet.
It would make sense though, keeping NA 6 for GT and Spyder, will make the new ones really hard to get.
Jay.

Re: New Boxster GTS
Hi, I place my deposit in July, but didn't receive an allocation until November with a Jan build slot. Will be one of the last flat 6 non GT cars. The new turbo engine have a decent write up, but that sound will never be the same. I will keep it 3-4 years, and have put in LOI for next GT4 or Spyder....

Re: New Boxster GTS
Thanks guys,
I placed my order 11th July last year, could have the car on 29th Jan but doesn't make sense.
Really looking forward to it.
