Re: Speedo accuracy.
Modern cars are deliberately under calibrated by up to5% by manufacturers these days, so if you do get caught speeding there’s not much defence...trust me I found out the hard way

Re: Another 2006 RS4 B7 What's it worth?
That must have been horrible. Thankfully you had the peace of mind of the Audi warranty and option to reject the car. Keep your eyes peeled for the next one. Audi are stocking less and less RS4s now I think? Was without doubt the worst few weeks of our life, the stress was unbelievable. Audi cust s...

Re: Another 2006 RS4 B7 What's it worth?
Fair enough, very sorry to hear this, that sounds like a dream spec. Thanks. I searched long and hard for a car of this spec, was going to fit ceramics next month, luckily managed to get a full refund on those. I am grateful to Audi for sorting out a refund, just annoyed that they never understood ...

Oh my word, you pxd that for 21k?! x414 O no lol.....we never planned on selling the car, planned on keeping it for a long time. Very sadly some serious defects came to light with the car (still very upsetting to think about actually) long story short...I rejected the car and got a refund.

Re: hmm TTRS vs RS4
You can’t really compare these cars on straight line performance alone. -Granted the TTRS looks great, so does the RS4. -The interior of the TTRS is pretty bland and colour less. -The TTRS is flippin quick, but it is very sterile to drive - even when re-mapped ;) -The RS4 is a crowd puller and alway...

Re: Paint warranty void??
I feel your pain in some ways. As for the Alloys im not at all surprised by this as most (if not all dealers) just referb alloys using mobile sprayers - thes make the wheels look good but are only cosmetic and last around 6 months to a year - only way to probably referb wheels is to have them done ...

Re: Paint warranty void??
I agonised for quite a while over whether or not to buy used approved. In the end I did despite the premium it cost over non UA because I thought it was worth it for guaranteed peace of mind. Since then I've realised that was somewhat naive and UA isn't anything like it's cracked up to be. Having s...
