The mobile Guy was from Cambridge, Disc Skimmers I think was the name of the company.

Wanted, used front discs for RS4 B7 anything considered but preferably 10,000 miles or less. A small lip is acceptable. 34mm thick new any discs that are still 33mm plus thick would be acceptable. Please PM me if you have some suitable discs for sale. Thank you.

Hi, 24,000 miles sounds well low for your front discs to be worn out. 40,000 is about the norm for front discs on a B7. Contact Dave at MRC they have a mobile disc brake specialist they call in to solve scored or lipped discs. He remachines the discs whilst they are on the vehicle maximising there l...

Speak to Dave at MRC they have a guy who comes in and sorts all there disc/hub problems. He machines the discs on the car which eliminates any hub runout and solves brake judder. Seen him there when I have been there. They rate him highly. At least you will get an honest opinion.

I cant give you a reference for Mdm technic, but I think you may have 2 separate issues. Your steering wheel wobble issue under braking may be answered by the post by zedrs5 titled Disc skimming b7, your symptoms sound very similair when braking. Hope this helps in your quest for answers.
