Re: Looking at buying an RS4 next week, first fast audi, need some help from you guys......
Most dealers don’t check cars, they just hope the warranty covers any issues that arise, that way they don’t have to fork out for any prep. I’ve seen dogs at Audi, BMW, Jaguar etc etc, they would all sell a wreck to their Granny if they thought there was profit in it.

Great history for a relatively inexpensive car.

Re: House extension costs?
Lots and lots of variables, but if you work on around £1500-£2000 per m2 you won't be a million miles away if its a pretty standard build

Re: Has anyone actually used Tootle?
I've had a couple of cars on Tootle, but I managed to sell them direct to dealers for a couple of grand more by stating on my Autotrader advert that I'm open to sensible trade bids.

Re: New Golf 7.5R
I've had to downsize for a year or so as I'm building a few houses next year. After much deliberation I bought a Golf GTi Clubsport, it's not the stripped out 3 door S version but it's still a brilliant little car, I nearly went for a R but the Mrs had one a couple of years ago so thought I'd get so...

Re: Potential Purchase - 1st Service at 28k miles?
So buying an Approved Used Audi doesn't guarantee a full service history, I'll have to remember that. In contrast I've just bought a 7 month old Golf GTi Clubsport and the dealer serviced it 5 months early so I didn't have to get it done for another year, I didn't even ask for it to be done.

Re: Cheap Insurance
Direct Line have been pretty competitive for me over the last couple of years, cheaper than any provider on the compare websites and they include business cover as standard. They are also pretty fair with refunds if you cancel and don't charge silly admin fees for any changes.

Re: Potential Purchase - 1st Service at 28k miles?
You need to get in writing that they will honour the warranty if anything goes wrong. The original 3 year warranty would have been void due to the late service, I'm not sure how that impacts the after market warranty. Don't take their word for it, you must get it in black and white. M3's etc can't b...

Re: New RS7!!!
It will be close to £100k list and it looks like a S-Line. I went to see the new RS3 a few weeks ago and walked straight passed it, I think the S-Line actually looked better. I think they have taken understated to the extreme. The only correct looking RS on sale is the RS6, but I bet that gets the s...

Re: Aston Martin - Supercharging a V8 Vantage
Hate Shmee, but we all still watch don't we... take it you saw this the other day on YouTube San? Not a bad prospect. The Vantage looks great from that era as its barely changed since. What's not to like? ! So so handling, poor build, corrosion, antiquated tech (the sat nav was outdated 10 years ag...

Re: It's decided - the B8 is staying!
I ŵas tempted to go for red/black interior as I went for red exterior, I bottled it and went for black. I do like Sapphire, but I also think the red interior will clash, its quite a bright red. Mine arrived at the dealers yesterday but I getting shot as the timing is all out now, I've had that many ...

Re: Transformers filming in Westminster - RS4 content
It's was in Newcastle last week along with the other cars. The Centenario sounds mental, the Merc AMG GT R sounds pretty decent too. http://i271.photobucket.com/albums/jj140/lofty123/IMG_0790_zpsf2zzbdcy.jpg http://i271.photobucket.com/albums/jj140/lofty123/IMG_0759_zpsiwet5x9w.jpg http://i271.photo...

Where's yours coming from Lofty? Newcastle. I ordered it last November and was told I'd get it around August/September. I was later told I wouldn't get it until next year so a got the M3, a week or so later I was told October :bash: I'll proabaly sell it as I really like the M3 and will loose a pac...
