it did feel like it was holding back so initially thought coil pack or lead or plug but after reading more on here and srs.com im now in two minds, haha i really dont know what to do, will wait and see what they say when they get back to me, i dont wanna jump in and get stung.

the garage phoned me today, said it was diagnosed as a faulty coil pack, do you reckon it could be just that? im not so sure but they said i can test drive it for as long as i want before i sign the deal, dunno what to do, ive told them to wait till the coil pack arrives and see how it is. not sure ...

took an rs6 for a test drive today and it pulled like a train!, then i stopped to look at the car then when i drove it again and gave it some it sorta misfired its hard to describe it but when it kicked down then went to change up to the next gear there was a loss of power, i took it back to the sho...

cheers cornishmoocher. oh btw my evo does about 15mpg and need serviced every 6 months and its not cheap either, its got 12k miles on it and had about 13 services so im well used to spending and keeping it maintained.

yep flyings different to driving, id have an 8 hour drive at least to get there then same back, and if i didnt like the car when i got there ooofftt lol so ill pass on it for now, will bide my time if that one i mentioned aint that nice, ta for the advice.

my daily driver has 260k on it so miles arent the be all and end all but id rather it was a low mileage minter than a high mile one, thats just me, like my cars to be tidy, it will be my third car so wont be used too much either, have an evo8 mr ive had since almost new to keep it company.

dont know much about them at all to be honest, im looking at dealers as i have a trade in car, dont want the hassle with folk coming to my door, hate tyre kickers.
