Re: My pride and joy stolen Cambs area
Stolen - recovered does not look good on a HPi check so would prefer to get a good payout as it will never be the same (to me at least) Problem is I bought it when it was 3 years old and it has been cherished ever since. No expense spared. Not sure I want to replace it with a car that is 6 years old...

My pride and joy stolen Cambs area
Hi guys, Had the pride and joy stolen yesterday, gutted is an understatement. 3 scumbags smashed the back patio door at 8:40 when the missus did the school run. First day this week when they had a chance so must have been waiting for their opportunity. Didn't steal anything else, passed 3 laptops an...

Re: Auto bootlid stopped working
Not exactly sure where the break was but I couldn't find it when I stripped the bootlid liner and tried to check myself. The valet feature confused the guy too as when the key position is not horizontal the drivers door switch doesn't work. All done now so happy again. Only expense this month should...

Re: Auto bootlid stopped working
All sorted, broken wire repaired for £75 so adding that to the wheel refurb, car tax, litre of oil from halfords and 10 litres from Opie an altogether expensive month !

Re: Auto bootlid stopped working
Correct, bootlid handle does not work at all. Have to put the key in the lock to open the boot

Re: Auto bootlid stopped working
Thanks for the replies I will try pulling wires tomorrow. To confirm, I can only open the boot with the key so sounds like a multi plug of some kind. Now to find it.....

Auto bootlid stopped working
H guys, hoping someone can help me out here. The auto bootlid just stopped working for no reason. Key fob and door switch have no effect. At the same time the dash is telling me the 2 rear fog lights and number plate bulb have gone. I checked all the fuses and nothing to report so guessing there is ...

Re: Massive oil leak
Same thing happened to me except I was driving home from Spain. Leak was pretty small so thought I could babysit the car home. Topped up with oil on the way but ran out and had to be recovered. RAC were a big help and sorted the recovery and hotels. Pipes replaced at a local garage in France for €65...

Re: Oil leak, oil cooler I guess
I have been reading through the other posts on this too and think I will get some oil and keep a close eye on the leak on the way home. I am sure the engine out was 'lost in translation' but I didn't want to chance it just in case.

Oil leak, oil cooler I guess
Hi all, Have a bit of a problem with an oil leak. Drivers side, not too bad but noticeable on the road. Problem is I am on holiday in the south of Spain and wondering whether I go to the local dealership or just drive home. Question is do the oil cooler pipes have a habit of just letting go, if it i...
