Re: RS4 B7 Slight misfire and jerky at low revs
I Had similar, lumpy/labouring at tick over and missing on 5 and 8 cylinders. I also had EPC light come on and error codes "Cam Position Sensor and Crank shaft Position Sensor Correlation error". Took it to 2 recommended VAG independent "Specialists", one who didn't have a clue and another who didn'...

Starter Motor replacement costs.
Hi, Has anybody replaced the starter motor recently? What sort of costs am I looking at? Had to bump start the beast on Friday to get her started. AA man suggested that as the car was 11 years old there was probably dead spots/dirt on the motor/brushes. I had already replaced the clutch switches in ...

Re: Brakes and fluid - advice on bleed screws
That sounds about right. I think you can get away with not touching the bleed nipples if your putting new disks and pads in, if memory serves me correctly, as your putting thicker materials back in (disks and pads) and therefore need less fluid. You won't however be able to do a fluid change without...

Re: Brakes and fluid - advice on bleed screws
Be VERY careful...you need to tweak your nipples regularly. :bigblink: Nipples are steel and callipers are aluminium, never a good combination as they oxidise together if left untouched for a long time (same as alloy wheels and cast iron hubs). One of sheared off when it was in the garage having pad...

Re: TPMS Sensors...
Had the same problem with mine. Audi Stealer wanted £130 per sensor and I couldn't figure out which wheel it was, so bought these https://www.ukpartsdirect.com/tpms-products/tpms-tyre-pressure-replacement-sensors/audi-tpms-tyre-pressure-sensors/audi-rs4-tpms-tyre-pressure-sensor.html for £134 for al...

Borry,
I posted this earlier...

I don't have the EPC light on though, but it's maybe worth a try as it's free!
Cheers

Throttle body recalibration/alignment...
Ladies and Gents, I'm sure you all know about this, found it on another Audi forum, tried it and it's made a massive difference... Mine's due for a service in 4000 miles, but noticed it has been popping a bit on cold startup and hunting a bit whilst idling to get up to temp. Throttle Body Alignment ...

Dual mass flywheel
Can anyone recommend where I can buy a new dual mass flywheel from other than the local Stealer? I'm just ordering all the other bits from GSF (Master and Slave Cylinder, Clutch Kit, Release Bearing, Clutch Releaser Guide) as it's 35% off this weekend (Code = OCT35), so all the mentioned for £263 se...

Re: Clutch problems
GSF (German Swedish French) are doing a 35% off this weekend, everything but the Flywheel = £262 (Master and Slave Cylinders, Clutch Kit, Release Bearing, Clutch Releaser and guide, all normally £404).

Re: On Car Brake Disc Skim - a recommendation
Thanks for the feedback gents. I've made the decision (as they've been previously skimmed) to bite the bullet and get new discs, pads and wheel bearings (front right is grumbling a bit anyway).
Interesting to hear different opinions on it though.

Re: On Car Brake Disc Skim - a recommendation
Lakers,
What's the benefit of having them skimmed on the car as opposed to off?
Bought mine about 6 weeks ago and disks had been skimmed off the car as part of the prep before buying. Am now getting judder when breaking, but didn't for the first 3-4 weeks of owning it!
Cheers

Thanks Gents...Banbury's only 20 mins away so MRC sounds like a good option.
