Hi I have exactly the same sequence of 8 codes, did you find what the problem was? I am about to get the ECU box open and check fuses and for water ingress.
Thanks!

Re: How many ecu error messages. Help please?
I have similar, Audi printed me a book of errors, literally. Mostly intermittent. The bloke said it could be where water has got into the ECU connections.

Wow that is a lot of work and money gone into that car! I bet the auction ends at a higher price than what you can buy the real thing for on AutoTrader / Pistonheads.

Re: Driving the 4.2 efficiently while still having fun
I think we all agree that a taller sixth would be handy on the manual, quieten things down slightly when you want to gobble up motorways at 90 and 100. Fifth and sixth are so close - there must be drives where I don't use fifth once (go straight from fourth to sixth) Definitely, 6th does seem a bit...

Re: Driving the 4.2 efficiently while still having fun
Sometimes I drive my girlfriends 1.3 Yaris. It's one of these modern day frugal 50MPG petrol cars, needs much revving to overtake and there's even enough time to look round and pull a few funny faces at the missus and make silly noises during the process! In the RS4 that would be suicide.

You guys are probably right about it being the wrong car for me, buy hey, I've totally admired the whole RS4 thing since the first models came out over 10 years ago and have always wanted one ever since. So after buyuing a house I saved for a few years and finally got one in 2010. I love the underst...

First of all my excuse for discussing economy on this forum is that my previous car was an A3 1.9 TDI 110 where everything was about economy. Plus I’m not exactly swimming in money like some folks are. For those times when you just want to take it easy e.g. to enjoy the views, or when you have peopl...

Re: Occasional Knock
A few months ago I had an occasionally knock just as described here. It gradually got worse over a couple of months until minor bumps in the road would cause the loud knock. It sounded like it was from the rear nearside. Audi spotted a leaking shock during a service so I got the shock replaced and D...

Re: RS4 B7 Oil Leak
I had a similar problem, it was power steering oil as the level had dropped very low:

There was no split in the pipe, the fix was to sort out some clips (photos in the above post). It has been fine since the fix in January.

I had a bit of trouble with the wagon after work this afternoon, is this familiar to anyone? 1) Drove to work, nothing out of the norm. 2) After work, pressed the start button, engine cranks as usual but does not fire into life for probably 4 or 5 seconds longer than usual amount of cranking. 3) Tic...

Re: Oil on drive behind front nearside wheel
Oil leak turned out to be the two clips (in green circle in photo above). Audi replaced them for free as part of the DRC warranty work. Relieved and thankful.
