Sounds like what happened to me when my flywheel was on the way out

My DMF died around 48k so had it all replaced by MRC. The bill came to a bit over £1800 if i remember correctly. That included a new slave cylinder and fluid etc
I think my lazy driving style of leaving it in higher gears helped it on its way to an early death as its had an easy life from new

Turned out the pressure plate had collapsed. Replaced under warranty

Sweet baby jesus what a ball ache that was The big battery is in but i really wouldnt recommend it I only went through with making it fit because i got it mates rate for £47 and a 5 year warranty :D So for anyone searching S4 battery type or size DO NOT go with the recommended size on most websites

Very annoyingly i have just found this out too There seems to be a rubber stopper on one side of the battery tray. I dont know if this can be moved to allow a bigger battery as without it i think the longer one may just squeeze in I am going to give it a try tomorrow anyway as i have been waiting ag...

It still has Milltek sports cats in so not 100% hardcore. I dont think i would want it any louder though Doug did explain the 5000rpm thing but i cannot remember for the life of me what he said it was. Either something changing over or the air box or something like that. Nothing to worry about though

The Millteks are not cheap. I had some other bits and bobs done aswell so not sure how much the above lot was. Your probably best giving them a call and see what they can do for you. I wouldnt expect alot if any change from £3k. You will be getting a first class service though
