yeah fair enough, if its a car you're going to keep forever then I dont think it matters, plus its a cheap way into a very high spec 4.
I'm currently battling with an insurance engineer to not write my 205 off as it will literally be worth 20p if they do, priceless to me tho...

I would, stolen recovered doesnt mean a thing to me. If you can get hold of a report detailing any damage (if any) then whats the problem, unless you are not planning on keeping it long. The mrs wouldn't let me have an imola one a few months ago so if i rocked up at home in that I think i'd be sleep...

fair enough, but i would have thought audi uk would have had it included as part of a servicing bulletin/instructions for the dealer as I the update is of benefit to the car. Surely in (quite a few) years this kind of thing might come back to bite audi in the ass, with some engines failing premature...

My guess is that as it's 4.5 years old now, you might expect DRC issues to have become apparent & resolved before now. If not, there's only 6 months (or 11k miles) on that car before the extended warranty on DRC issues expires...so it could end up being costly. Hope that helps... Si ... the ad does...
