Re: JHM stage 1 supercharger kit
All you do is connect to their server and flash the file they have put there for you, yourself.
They also do this with their NA tune/map. That would be good for you UK/EUR guys. A friend did it on his car at my house because I have one of the JHM flash cables . Took about 45 minutes all in.

Re: supercharged rs4 WOW
would love to have a go in one, mine feels quick and its n/a No offence to our cars (NA mildly modded ) but the JHM supercharged cars I have been in leave ours feeling a bit (a lot) sluggish. You may not want to drive a supercharged one lol. Even JHM stage 1 was night and day. And TTS is even faste...

Re: supercharged rs4 WOW
What does wrekka have? To be honest they don't add much value when you sell the car with a supercharger so I'd be inclined to buy a car already charged. Then you can keep it if it's a better car or transfer the kit across to yours and put the SC car back to stock. Might seem a bit of a palaver but l...

Re: Gearbox (synchro?) problems
Hi guys Wanted to get your thoughts and advice on a gearbox issue I'm having. My car has done just over 30k miles. 2nd gear has started to occasionally pop out of gear and back into neutral. Sometimes this happens when I depress the clutch but it can also happen under load / just cruising in 2nd ge...

Re: supercharged rs4 WOW
I'd love to know what putting 600hp on an engine and drivetrain designed for 400hp does over time. Has anything experienced (or heard of on the grape vine) any issues? Danny, why's it a better package for you than the GTR? Do you mean the rear seats & boot space or something else? It kills your clu...

Yes. Sell the intake, and reinstall the stock airbox. Your car will be faster and you won't have this issue.RossDagley wrote:
Does anyone have a suggestion
There's a few reasons all of the fastest rs4s use the stock airbox. It's not a coincidence.

Re: Fault code
I'd be inclined to put the stock airbox on and sell the carbon one. It's beautiful, and will sell instantly. Try selling in the US. It's a dead horse that has been soundly beaten but the stock airbox is BEST. For perspective using acceleration data: Fastest supercharged RS4 ever - stock airbox Faste...

Re: Fault code
What's a revo filter... The open element carbon one?
As I and a few others mentioned to nikkakk on AR when he was trying to figure out why hisndyno numbers weren't great, going back to stock airbox would be highly advisable.

C6 wheel? Looks nice and fat. That's the one to get. I love the look of the rs4 fbsw but can't give up phone and radio control.

Re: Fault code
What happens if you unplug the maf? No change? That should mean something.
Also some people get maf codes if they over-oil their K&N filter. Maybe check this...(if you have one)

Re: In support of the "stock" RS 4
I used to be nicknamed stockimano on another forum because I kept my rs4 stock for two years. It's an excellent car. I have full JHM exhaust on it and I love it. The sound is like a better version the of the stock sound. It's got many of the stock characteristics. Deep, clean, not obnoxious, not ras...

Re: Quarter mile times
I have brought my pbox to the strip and forgotten to run it half a dozen times. Now it's my gopro that I bring and forget to turn off between bunches of runs ... Killing the battery and filling up the card in the first hour of a 5 hr test and tune/rwyb day.

Re: Quarter mile times
Did you run that device while at the strip? Would have been a good way to 'calibrate' it and see how accurate it really is.
