Re: RE: Nightmares for me

What car did you change it for? Nothing immediately, but I've got a diesel 4x4 and a Clio 172Cup for the fun side. Will probably swap that for equivalent bhp in quattro diesel as I'm in a similar predicament to Bob and find I'm doing loads of miles looking after the other house 300miles away. A bit...

Nightmares for me

I've just had my last morning waking up to see my 6+ on the drive as I'm taking it to the dealer's today to wave goodbye. It's only ever run on Optimax/V-Power, and I brimmed it knowing that I was going to really enjoy the last tankful  and leave it just above the red light when it goes. Needl...

£46k is on the table, and even with that I'm having second thoughts - especially after having a "last blast" in it over the past couple of days. Realistic is whatever someone is prepared to pay, and the dealer knows the car's been looked after. With that as a backstop I'm not worried in the least by...

Hi Alex All I can say at this stage is it's not my local one. I think they're getting a bit complacent, and whilst I know they would look after me, there's no way there going to get close to the deal that I'm mulling over. To complicate matters I've also got a reputable 3rd party who's expressed an ...

RE: millers octane booster

Thanks guys. Met John recently @ Kiddy on a jaunt to mid-Wales. Using "Splash" to try and sell my allroad, which I will miss from Monday when it goes to a dealer. 6+ then becomes my workhorse for a month or so until I get a replacement for the allroad. Just a shame they didn't support allroad more o...

RE: Millers octane booster

Did you get it direct off Millers, and how much per case (how many bottles per case?)? It may be that you can just order a case from your local supplier, as, to be viable, its got to work out less per litre than the 98/97 RON to 95 RON premium. Unless of course you can't find any Super Plus locally....
