Any "piggie pipe" user's here?
Wondering if anyone has converted their OEM dp's to the famed "piggie pipe"? If so, what's your feedback on the modification?

Re: v8 wing badges or not?
I did find the "R" badge with the red accent/sticker on the rear trunk lid to be the toughest of the bunch. Just keep working at it and she comes right off. Careful not to apply too much heat though!edge wrote:I think I will do the same!
Hard to get off the rear ones?

Re: v8 wing badges or not?
I think I will do the same! Hard to get off the rear ones? Nah, not really. A heatgun or hairdryer for about 2-3mins to soften the badge adhesive, then using some dental floss slice through the adhesive. Afterwards use some tar & glue remover to clear any leftover adhesive on the paint. Job done! E...

Re: v8 wing badges or not?
The North American RS4's come with them from the factory, however I removed mine today. I went a step further and also removed the RS4 badge on the rear as well. Next will be to remove the RS4 badge on th grill. Car looks so much cleaner.

Re: KW V3's installed - Pics Inside!
Thanks for the PM. I went for a fast road set up. 20mm drop all round (on normal sports suspension) bound/rebound settings 7/8 and medium ride. Spacers are 10mm rear and 8mm front. Tyres are standard 255/35/19s. If you get your 4WLA done soon after having the coilovers installed you will most certa...

Re: KW V3's installed - Pics Inside!
Looks great! What's the ride like on bumpy roads? Also slightly off topic, did you add the V8 badge under the side repeater or did it come on it from new? As far as I can make out it's something that the American version came with or am I wrong? I havent' driven it all that much, but I can say so f...

Re: KW V3's installed - Pics Inside!
Thanks. It feels tighter, naturally as it now sits lower. The driveability with the KW's is not compromised, meaning it still drives beautifully, not harsh.Steve_C wrote:Looks good. How does the handling differ from DRC?

Re: KW V3's installed - Pics Inside!
I did have a "clunky" noise coming front pass side, and discovered that the rear driver side was starting to sweat, so timing was good.Awd4 wrote:Great looking car! Did you have trouble with DRC?
A tad lower on the back would look great

Re: Which coilovers?
Cheers guys. On the basis of only looking to keep the car for another 2-3 years (possibly less) it looks like the KWV3's seem the best option for me on the balance of things. If I was planning on tracking the car then the Ohlins would be the way to go. Will probably leave the OE ARB's and see how i...

KW V3's installed - Pics Inside!
Had my new KW V3 suspension installed today, wow what a difference! I am very impressed with how the car drives/handles now - am I crazy to state that it feels better than with the DRC? That said, I left the shop without getting an aligment done. I go back to the shop tomorrow morning to get the ali...

Re: Coilovers v DRC
Coilovers, hands down. Stiffer spring rates and you will likely be at a lower ride height. The trade off......you'll likely have a better handling car.

Short Shifter?
Hi All, Wondering whether or not RS4 owner's on here even bother chnaging out the stock shifter for a short shift set up? I recently purchased a JHM SS and I can;t say I am enjoying it too much. There seems to be a lot of adjusting that needs to be done in order to "get it right". Im leaning towards...
