My car was APR tuned and it didn't help.

I believe a correct size air flow straighthener will help smooth out air turbulence. Or cut off the maf housing from the stock air box to keep the diameter the same...the culprit of this issue.

The initial response from gruppe-m was to lengthen the joint hose (5mm, 10mm, 20mm) or/and adjust the maf sensor height by 5mm, 10mm. What's the difference between the earlier unit vs new? Yes, I made sure the distance from the MAF sensor to the filter is 100mm and made sure the sensor is facing the right direction.
