It'll be nice to see a big group of RS4s again.
I'll be there in my M5.

Re: DON'T DO IT ???? 20' RIMS
Same here, I ran 20" wheels (genuine Audi) for several years with no issues at all and highly recommend it.

Re: Check Your Tyre Wear - Near Miss
I had the exact same issue on my Alfa. Low tyre pressure warning when doing about 80mph. I slowed down and pulled over the first place that I could but the tyre was already <beep> at this point. These were Michelin PS4Ss. This is a common issue for lowered cars that have no camber adjustment. Being ...

Re: New RS6 Gripes - any thoughts?
well lane assist is there to keep you in lane, i like it, to avoid it tugging you back over you just use indicators when changing lane ...simple, then it deactivates trying to pull you back in lane as you are making a manoeuvre confirmed by use of indicators, the car then knows to deactivate it for...

Re: RS4 B9 now quieter after front resonator delete
I thought (perhaps wrongly!) that all resonators did was modify the exhaust tone, so removing them wouldn't make the exhaust any louder, it would just sound 'different'. You've mentioned the lack of the bass tone, which could stack up with this view. Do you remember hi-fi stereos years ago used to ...

Re: Heavily leaning towards an RS6 C7.5...
I wouldn't say it is fairly common for dampers to fail. I can only think of a few on here that have had issues versus the 1000's that haven't. Sure, air sounds more reliable at this stage but I think DRC has a bad rep from the previous RS cars that have had it much worse. I had no trouble with mine...

Re: Mike's Panther RS6 Performance thread
Oh forgot to mention, I got some new mats. Pretty please with them, got the right colour and right colour stitching. The gap between the S and the 6 is not quite right but only you perverts will notice that. http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20161226/7d141f318e1c936425f83d517db3c1ef.jpg http://upload...

Re: Rattling Milltek
Mine used to do it. I'd spray some wd40 into the tailpipes and it would stop for about a month.
Re: New motor
Nice motor Chunk. Really subtle paint job there too, doubt you'll get noticed much.

Re: Bucket Seats - Electric Bolsters won't stay in position
Have a look in the BY forum, there are lots of threads about this. Some people have even repaired the valves with a bit of glue / sealant. From memory the valves are about £160 each which is not a massive amount of money but if all of them need replacing it can start adding up. I think there was one...

Re: Turn offkeyless entry?
Just got my RS6 today. The keyless entry is a pain in the...... Happy with start with key in the car somewhere, but unlocking when key is near the car is painful. You can never be sure the car is locked. Or it unlocks as you walk away etc. Just want to turn it off for a simple life Car spec sheet s...

Re: Exhaust opinion-
Hi all, is it worth removing resonators, silencer on the sport system or get Miltek/Scorpion cat back? What kind of comparison is there? Is a cat back worth the extra money for the same sound? You tube videos are not really representative as some are in garages or stage 2. Just after opinion of any...

Re: Lowering springs
You also need to be aware that most gap insurance doesn't cover modified cars. So if, like me, you declare your mods to your insurance company then I think you'd struggle to get the gap insurer to pay up in the event of a claim. But, I think just lowering springs would invalidate any springs or DRC ...

Re: exhaust question
The sports exhaust is nowhere near as loud as the Milltek non-res. Having said that I lived with my milly with the exhaust valves permanently disconnected so it can't be that loud.
