Re: Bucket Seats - Electric Bolsters won't stay in position

Have a look in the BY forum, there are lots of threads about this. Some people have even repaired the valves with a bit of glue / sealant. From memory the valves are about £160 each which is not a massive amount of money but if all of them need replacing it can start adding up. I think there was one...

Re: Turn offkeyless entry?

Just got my RS6 today. The keyless entry is a pain in the...... Happy with start with key in the car somewhere, but unlocking when key is near the car is painful. You can never be sure the car is locked. Or it unlocks as you walk away etc. Just want to turn it off for a simple life Car spec sheet s...

Re: Exhaust opinion-

Hi all, is it worth removing resonators, silencer on the sport system or get Miltek/Scorpion cat back? What kind of comparison is there? Is a cat back worth the extra money for the same sound? You tube videos are not really representative as some are in garages or stage 2. Just after opinion of any...

Re: Lowering springs

You also need to be aware that most gap insurance doesn't cover modified cars. So if, like me, you declare your mods to your insurance company then I think you'd struggle to get the gap insurer to pay up in the event of a claim. But, I think just lowering springs would invalidate any springs or DRC ...

Re: exhaust question

The sports exhaust is nowhere near as loud as the Milltek non-res. Having said that I lived with my milly with the exhaust valves permanently disconnected so it can't be that loud.

Re: exhaust question

Deleting the front and centre resonators is a nice mod for the price.
Beyong that it's down to personal taste on what sort of tone you like and how loud you want it. Milltek non res was perfect for me, love the tone. But I happily lived with the res delete for 3 years.

Re: 295 30 21 Tyres on a 10.5

I run Michelin 295/30 on 10.5” rims....to provide more rim protection & also more accurate speedo readings. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I get you are doing it to protect your wheels but surely you've just introduced more speedo error by going to 295/30 than a 'stretched' 285/30? I say 'stret...

Re: RS6 vs S8 Plus price and options?

The Audi S cars will nearly always depreciate more than the RS version. I appreciate one is a 6 and the other is an 8 but my point still stands. You might be paying more for the RS6 but you will probably sell it for more than the S8 will be worth at the same time.

Very loud! No mention of any valves either.

But for the price, why not give it a go.

Do you know the name of the boot luggage rail?
Danny, they are shared with the A6, think the C6 is exactly the same too. I don't think they made an RS6 specific one so I'm guessing the logo is an aftermarket sticker job.
Think they were called telescopic divider or something like that.

I’ve now added the RS6 air box and pipercross filter amd the RS6 Performance Sports exhaust and secondary cat delete (mainly for noise)
The RS6 doesn't have any secondary cats. What you deleted were most likely the front resonators.

Oh right. Mines a face lift and had the big box and some smaller ones too towards the back boxes
The smaller boxes are towards the front, not rear, even on facelift.
