Kenwood DNX-7260 cables

Hi, I have just purchased the Kenwood DNX-7260 navigation unit to put into my 02 Plate RS6 and I was wondering which cables and parts I would need to upgrade from the RNS-D to the Kenwood. http://www.kenwood-electronics.co.uk/tech/dd/7260/ I am guessing, Radio aerial Bose (connection to the Bose spe...

RE: Laughable insurance quote

I got quoted £9599.23 :bigblink:
Silly quotes are just their way of saying that they don't want insure you. Anyone else, when insurance shopping, put the next street in for the home address so to tread the water but not get post spammed by the insurer?

RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: CLICK4WARRANTY... SO CHEAP???!!

The impression I got from the guy on the phone was that they cover standard parts and materials on the car. If it is a brand specific piece of technology, eg. DRC, then they will not cover it. But then again, could they not try to sneek out of any payout by playing that card?!? I was considering the...

"Dear Jon, Notifying customer if specific part is covered Thank you for your enquiry regarding the components covered by our Click4Warranty Mechanical Breakdown Insurance. Unfortunately, our underwriters have now confirmed that the...

Yes I installed the suspension alone. It took about 7 hours to do, but I am slow and meticulous.

I had my PSS9's installed yesterday and the car is transformed into a smooth and comfortable ride. A million miles away from the rattle cage which a failed DRC suspension imparts on the car! The trickiest part was a few seized bolts, but a bit of WD40 and some GRRRR and everything came apart nicely....

RE: Remap - Insurance

Insuring cars in the past with mods, Exhaust cat back was fine, no extra charge. Induction kit was fine, no extra charge. Exhaust and induction kit increased the premium. Exhaust including sports cats increased the premium. Remap always an increase on the premium. Elephant and Admiral should cover y...

.... also about 2 years ago I phoned them with my bank card in my hand ready to hand over some dosh so that I could add my 54 year old dad to my insurance, and it ended up that they refunded me £50 as my remaining 6 months policy went down in price by adding his name to my Z3M Coupe policy. Result :...

Yup, +4. They are not always the cheapest out there initially, but if you can send them links to prove others are cheaper they will normally beat it. I then find for the rest of the year you can experience trouble free communication with their team. Until the 12 months is up and it starts again, but...

Main Dealer Let Down

Sorry just have to vent here for a second. Today is my first dealing with an Audi Main Dealer, Hatfield Audi. http://www.m25audi.co.uk/about_us/hatfield.html I am looking at installing my PSS9's this weekend so I ordered the replacement top mounts as per Rich_C's Sticky. So I ordered them yesterday ...

RE: Falken 452

@Bilko1
Sorry to thread hijack, but wow those C6 alloys look the doggys danglies on the C5 saloon. http://audisrs.com/ftopic14511-15.php
Has anyone got a pic of the Avant with the same rims? Would be very tempted if they look even half as good as on the saloon.
