Yes I installed the suspension alone. It took about 7 hours to do, but I am slow and meticulous.

What is a full gemotery set up and what sort of place could do that for me?

I had my PSS9's installed yesterday and the car is transformed into a smooth and comfortable ride. A million miles away from the rattle cage which a failed DRC suspension imparts on the car! Bizarre but I think the C5 Saloon looks better with the C6 alloys than the Avant, couldn't tell you why though.
