RS6 C6 wheels on RS6 C7

Does anyone know if the C6 wheels will fit on the C7? Is there a reliable source that confirms this?

Many thanks in advance,

Douglas.

If anyone is interested, I have just listed my winter wheels on eBay as I (sadly) no longer need them.

Selling advice please

Hi all - change of circumstance means I need to make some choices, and I have decided to sell my RS6. I am looking for a reasonable price within a reasonable timeframe - so wish to avoid trading in but can't afford to hang around for ages. What would people recommend? AutoTrader, or Piston Heads, or...

Re: ACC not avaible

For anyone interested, the part number for the Cover (called cover for radioator grille in ETKA) is 4F0 853 631 G. For my car, the colour code is Y9B - brilliant black - which I assume the colour code for all cars as the middle of all grilles are black? The Y9B seems to match the codes used for the ...

Re: Airbag sensor location

Many thanks. Found them!

Swapped the sensors over to check whether it was a sensor fault or wiring fault (as per Ross-Tech) and now the fault doesn’t reappear. Go figure …

In case anyone is interested, the Part number for G284 is 4L0 959 651 and it’s the same on each side.

Airbag sensor location

The airbag warning light has come on, and VCDS suggests it is the G284 passenger side crash sensor. Ross-Tech Wiki suggests some fault triage steps below, which I am keen to try myself. However, I can't easily find a reliable source of information for where the sensors are. The diagrams on 7zap aren...

Re: Whining and jerking; help with diagnosis

For anyone following this thread, the ZF website has a function that will identify your vehicle from its registration correctly (link below). https://aftermarket.zf.com/go/en/aftermarket-portal/technical-information/catalogs/#/ In my case, it identifies the right kit (with or without the oil). The k...

Re: Whining and jerking; help with diagnosis

Hey Nice, thanks for the advice. Do you have a part number for the seal? Or are there different boxes even on the C6? Douglas.

Re: Whining and jerking; help with diagnosis

Thank you Stiggles. Do you have a link for the kit, as a quick search doesn't yield something that is obviously the right kit? It is a 2009 car, with 114,000 miles on the clock - so definitely qualifies.

Re: Whining and jerking; help with diagnosis

Good question - I have no idea. Is there any way of telling via VCDS, or is it a physical inspection job. I was told by someone at Audi Huntingdon that the gearbox oil doesn't need servicing on this car, and accepted this advice at face value. From your question and other threads, I believe I have b...

Whining and jerking; help with diagnosis

I am hoping to make use of a 'wisdom of crowds' approach to diagnosis, or at least narrowing down possible causes of two issues that I fear might be related. Over past few months I have noticed a steady increase in volume of a whining noise coming from the rear of the engine bay. It matches engine r...
