Having owned a TVR - as with a boat there are 2 great days of TVR ownership the day you get it and then the day you sell it - the second is better than the first.

The reason for the pricing is that they're all old now. Most cars loose 50% in their first 3 years then a further 50% of that in the following 3 years. Therefore 60k becomes 30k becomes 15k retail - then account for reliability issues and traders margin £10,500 is where a lot of us are at.

Plenty of problems with mercedes and AMG cars. - As with the Audi's the parts and labour are both very expensive. If you have a problem with your supercharger you're looking at £4-5k plus fitting.
