What you need to pressure test your intercoolers is a fairly chunky pushbike inner tube, large enough when its cut to go over the inlet and outlet pipes on your intercoolers, when I did mine I put a cable tie on each end, like you would a jubilee clip to stop the inner tube slipping off. then just p...

I had the same lights on, fitted a new brake light switch, £8 something and less than
a half hour to fit, fixed it for me.

You just need a punch thats slightly smaller in diameter than the pins
then gently knock the pins out. you may have to hold the plate thats
between the pads down away from the pin

I had exactly the same problem with my RNS-D the trouble was in the unit,
I had an RNS-E fitted and it worked , no problem

I had my car serviced at MRC yesterday,tthrew the K&Ns away and as if by magic
averaged 21,2mpg on the fairly steady ride home in the traffic.
Similar ride there , 17mpg

The fuel consumption on mine dropped on average about 2-3 mpg after a service
when I had K&N's fitted, perhaps thats why they aren't recommended.
