What you need to pressure test your intercoolers is a fairly chunky pushbike inner tube, large enough when its cut to go over the inlet and outlet pipes on your intercoolers, when I did mine I put a cable tie on each end, like you would a jubilee clip to stop the inner tube slipping off. then just p...

You just need a punch thats slightly smaller in diameter than the pins
then gently knock the pins out. you may have to hold the plate thats
between the pads down away from the pin

I had exactly the same problem with my RNS-D the trouble was in the unit,
I had an RNS-E fitted and it worked , no problem
