Re: It looks like everybody is considering or busy with sell
It'll be 6 years for me in summer and I'll never sell. 95k miles now and it had virtually everything replaced at least once so far. I'm not complaining though. While I'm taking good care, driving it warm and cold and looking after things, I certainly do not hold back and driving it hard to the limit...

Whistling Bose
Couple of weeks ago my Bose sub developed an occasional faint whistling noise. It comes and goes and recently it got louder and happens more often. Very annoying. It's quite random, wasn't able to tie it to anything external like temperature, humidity, runtime etc. All other speakers are OK, it just...

Found oil
While doing some work at the weekend I spotted nasty oily grease at the bottom side of the engine. Any clue what that is or where the oil might come from?

HMS has a good reputation for their remaps over here and their exhausts are of best quality (and they WILL fit). Not the cheapest option, but worth every euro and they sure sound brutal. And afaik they're the only ones doing flaps with an oval end and not only twin pipes. 3600 euros with black ovals...

RE: Horn sounds like a squealing donkey
They're behind the fender somehow under the lights. Pretty sure I can get to them from below, will give it a try at the weekend. Maybe something like that: http://www.autodino.de/autonews/2008/11/14/autovideos-listen-to-the-hoernchen-die-lauteste-autohupe-der-welt/ Guess I'm out of that age anyway. ...

Horn sounds like a squealing donkey
Something new every day. Today one of my horns decided to fail. Not that I use them much...
Anyway, I figured out where they're located, does anyone know a real loud replacement which fits in there? No compresssor stuff though...

Re: RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: quest for the perfect car
The C5 RS6 is a good allrounder but I am not sure how you can say it feels more connected than an M3 (E46 or E90) as they are more nimble and steer more accurately than any Audi I have driven.... Certainly the M3 was the best handling car of the ones I test drove, but I guess it's that steering fee...

They're also a bit longer than the OEMs and come with good clamps. Looks save.
