It does sounds like the PCV valve has failed, it's located under the RS engine cover.
I had the same thing, there was a tiny hole in the pipe, had to get a new one from Audi and solved the issue.

Yellow stuff used to squeak for me unless under stiff breaking....easier to make the exhaust nice and loud so you cant hear it!

Re: MRC and carbon cleans

Don't Unit20 do carbon cleans. Not far from Liverpool. Or do you think if you have travelled across the water you might as well keep going to MRC? I got mine done in 2012 and went with MRC as they seemed to have more experience and feedback on here at the time. Also wanted to get a specific remap f...

Re: MRC and carbon cleans

The Premier Inn hotel is cheap and cheerful and just off the M40. After I dropped the car off first thing, I actually headed back to the hotel until they kicked me out at 12pm. One of the lads dropped me back. After I got kicked out, I walked back down to MRC (a mile away and took less than 20min) t...

Re: MRC and carbon cleans

Here is what I did and it was a nice road trip to be fair. You lot have a little further to go to get to the ferry from Dublin, unless you have other options.

Re: MRC and carbon cleans

Cant you do a one night trip? Thats what I did from Dublin. They did a carbon clean, gutting of pre-cats, stage two mani and stage two remap all in one day. Ferry over the night before, kip in local premier in, drop car off at 8am and then collected it around 4/5 and then race back to the ferry with...

Re: What's the favoured tyres to fit to a RS4 ?

Vredestein Sessanta, had two sets of these in my ownership of the RS4 and thought they were excellent. I had PZeros before them and didnt see any difference in performance. I have to disagree - my RS4 came from the factory with PZeros which I thought were a total POS (zero wet grip, and rubbish lif...

Re: RS4's and car seats.

I was battling the misses for some maxi cosy or britax thing, which at the end of the day they all meet the same safety standards it just depends on what you think is best for you... I like everyone else on here went with aesthetics! They all meet the minimum safety requirements and nothing wrong w...

Re: Mapping help

Any advice for my journey down (plan to leave Renfrew at 02:00 am to get to MRC for opening) and travel back in the afternoon all going well : ) There's a Premier Inn 5 minutes from MRC who do a <£50 room. I've done both the 3:30am start to get there for 8am and the Premier Inn and I prefer the hot...

Re: RS4's and car seats.

Hi G4RETH, I have an 11 month old girl & after an awful lot of research we have decided that rear facing seats are definitely the way to go as they are a much much safer option for your little one in the event of an accident (proven to be 5 times safer in fact than forward facing!!!) We've opted fo...
