Thanks. It makes a world of difference to driving with the roof down.

Re: Which Tyres?
Hi Rich,
I put a full set of PS3's on about a month ago. They are a marked improvment over what was on the car (Toyo's) and so far make the car feel alot more stuck to the road and improve the feel all round.
Got mine from Event Mobile tyres.
Cheers
Steve

Re: Insurance Rant
I have used A-plan (thatcham branch) for the last 5 or 6 years. Always been very competitive & also very helpful & efficient the 1 time I had to make a claim.

Re: Excellent B7 S4 Saloon
Nice looking car, good luck with the sale.
I have a B6 S4 ('05), and mine is in the lower tax band so maybe the higher band only applies to some B6's?

Re: Change of Tyre Size
Maybe I will go for the PS2. It was the tyre at the launch they were comparing the SS too when they said it was better than there previous tyre in various elements.

Re: Change of Tyre Size
I currently have a combo of Avons & Toyos left over from previous owner. They claimed the new tyres are 20% better or something on mileage than PS2's, they never mentioned the PS3's at the presentation strangely.

Re: Change of Tyre Size
I went to the launch event couple of weeks agao (hence the discount), drove a variety of cars with Super Sports on and then same cars with competitor tyres on (Conti's, Bridgestones etc) and the Super Sports outperformed in all the tests/scenarios I drove in. Just annoying they havent done a 235/40/...

Re: Change of Tyre Size
Thanks for your thoughts. I will probably go for Michelin PILOT SPORT 3 XL in 235 as discount still applies to those aswell rather than stray from Audi's original sizes.

Change of Tyre Size
I have 235 40 18 on standard B6 S4 Avus alloys at the moment. Are there any major implications of dropping to 225 or up to 245? I have been offered a good discount on the new Michelin Pilot Super Sports but sods law they dont do them in 235 on an 18.
Thanks
Steve
