Thanks lengster, I agree. I know I'd get a better bid once they saw the condition in person so I would definitely drive to any dealers.

I want to get a shortlist of specialists who appreciate the spec, condition etc rather than a webuyanycar type dealer, then decide who to visit.

I'm selling up and want to get a few trade bids in before I consider if it's worthwhile with the private sale hassle.

Can anyone recommend a dealer they've used and found helpful or a known RS4 specialist?

Finally got round to doing this over the weekend, looks so much better! The only thing I did differently from neckarsulms great guide was putting the lights in the oven for a few mins to soften the sealant rather than using a heat gun. what temp and for how long?
