RS6 2003 Avant - Daytona Grey

My RS6 is now up for sale. Just before Christmas I bought a Range Rover sport and thought about keeping them both for a while but unfortunately the RS6 has to go to a new home. It has been a great car the last 2.5 plus years. I have all of the receipts and paperwork dating back to the original owner...

wife if you kerb my wheels I will set fire to your wardrobe

after 2 years of having the most destroyed alloys in London I've got my alloys done. Went for the Titian grey. I prefer the look with the black optics but still think they look smart. Got them done at FA Wheels in West Hampstead, NW london. They put some loan Audi wheels on for 2 days while they did...

Re: Passengers side electric switch trim removal???

I did my mirror switch cover the other day and it looks so much better now.

Also did what shop said and rubbed off the rubbish rubber finish on the door handles, good advice

thanks, I'd like her to go to another forum member. The body work is in good shape but she's done quite a few miles

Re: Manor Cars

yeah the misses said she would chip in so I think £12k for her half is a good number. Like you said Bam, need to be paying about 25 to get an okay one.

I wonder if she will chip in half when the engine blows up?

Re: Manor Cars

not feeling much love for the S5 here. Not driven one yet so maybe it's not the future

So the outcome seems to be: Manor Cars are massive knob jockeys / get the misses to give me £12k go out and buy an 993

Re: Manor Cars

I've seen the posts before with people struggling to think what to get. Just goes to show what a great all round car the 6 is, it does everything.

There are a few nice 50k miles ish M5's for about 20 grand out there

Re: Manor Cars

I used to really want a Scooby when I was younger, just feels like it would be a bit of a step down after the 6. Although a guy on my road has a sti (sexually transmitted infection) and his looks and sounds quality

Re: Manor Cars

what about 'Hair by Savage' ?

ha ha.......I think she only said that cause she had no idea how much I spent on the 964

GTR is a good call, a bit too flashy but I bet they move

forgive me but I actually looked at a Range Rover Sport, shhh

Re: Manor Cars

It's a tricky one. I looked at M3's before I got the 6 but far too many of them round here. Like you said I think that sitting in the RS4 would be pretty much the same as the 6 and might wind me up I bet I'd really enjoying driving the TTRS but need a bit more room than that and I'm not a hairdresse...

Re: Manor Cars

I know what you're saying but I love the look of the A5. What would you suggest?

The wife said she would chip in for a Porsche 993 but I've had a 964 and that is an expensive pastime. I might be able to stretch to an RS4

Re: Manor Cars

now I've calmed down a bit I realise how brilliant it was. I should have keep him on the phone for longer just for comedy value.

Manor Cars

I fancy a bit of a change. The RS has been loads of fun but 2-3 years is about the most I can do before I start looking again. So have been thinking about an S5. I'm in the area this afternoon and there is one for sale with Manor Cars. I call them up:.......hello, I'm interested in the S5....okay......
