Re: Coilovers?
I just put on B14s with new arms too. It does feel firmer but I definitely realise just how good the DRC was now I don't have it. I think the DRC is so integral to making the RS4 what it is - I had to go the aftermarket route as my DRC was on its last legs (MY 06, 55k miles) but the B14s aren't the ...

Looking to buy Bilsteins B14 this week...
Guys, Looking to swap out the DRC this week for B14s (most affordable) if anyone has any recommendations for a good place to buy from. Demon Tweaks look the cheapest but they are still £900 *shudder* Would anyone recommend doing anything else whilst the install is happening - top arms, bushes etc - ...

So buy separately and get a local to do it, Marc?

Re: Looks like DRC died...
The centre valves are £500 each apparently. I've asked MRC (nearest) to quote for V3s or B14/16s, cold air feed and Stage 2 Map but they aren't the best with communications. All are height adjustable so I may just go for the cheapest as I'm not a track guy.

Looks like DRC died...
Guys, looks like the DRC finally died last night. My original intent was to replace it fully but the cost is too much. What is the preferred option for a non - track car (might do Nordschleife once a year). Bilstein B14, B16 or KW V3s? I'd like the front ride height to mirror the back but don't feel...

Re: Is the RS4 B7 old hat
Took mine out today, the suspension will need re-doing soon but she pops and bangs and people still look at her. I was thinking today that, next to GT3s, Huracan Performante etc, there is nothing that I'd actually want to trade up to and the fact that I compare a £16k car to ones over £200k says a l...

Re: Carbon splitter dead!!!!
I got an EZ Lip a few years back - it's still on firm and looks epic. Would rather have a carbon one (but not bits of carbon) - sorry that is broke, definitely get refunded.

Re: B7 RS4 vs Focus RS advice required
Thanks Marc, that's my thought process - buy it, run it for a while a see if it's a keeper. Not sure if I'm a fan of the newer Focus tbh.

Re: B7 RS4 vs Focus RS advice required
Marc, Mine is a saloon, yes so I don't need the space. The guy selling is moving abroad and it's a nice example of one - I've always thought about getting one but now worry that it might be a little dated and remond me too much of the ST24 and ST220 (not that that would be a bad thing I guess) - Tha...

B7 RS4 vs Focus RS advice required
Guys, Might have the option to add a MY10 Focus RS Mk2 to the stable, it's a small stable though - am I going to gain anything from having a Focus RS alongside the B7 or will I just be disappointed? Interestingly I'm running a 200 bhp diesel Seat Leon FR at the moment which is pretty rapid. Anyone g...

Re: Completely new DRC re-fit question
I'm not convince dropping £4k on DRC is the best thing to do on a £16k car in all honesty, it's a shame as she only has 55k miles on her, I just really don't fancy having to do it again in another 10 years. It might be time to step up to the next gen B8, that had DRC as an option IIRC - does that me...

Thanks Pat, that would help a lot - did you swap it out entirely?

Re: Completely new DRC re-fit question
That is my worry to be honest. It's not like any aftermarket DRC was ever made to reduce that cost. I'll see what the bill is going to be I guess - I assume the B8 will have the same issues in the future?
