I bought a set a few weeks ago for £500, these are a bargain for someone?

I had an inspection done and they would not cover the car. They said that the rear discs needed replacing (I have since renewed the rear discs and pads) and that the coolant was slightly brown so they were supsicious the engine had overheated at some point. Just signed up as well, subject to the £60 inspection being ok.
