Re: Tracker Needed

Don't think locations of tracking devices should be a discussion on an open forum guys!

Had Cobra on my wife Cayenne and Tracker on the RS, pain in the arse when you forget the tag though.

Tracker were very slow in activating the system however, i found their admin quite weak.

Re: Torque steer -solution

Mine did this out of the box, no one at the stealers took it seriously, I was blaming the Dunlops, they were blaming the cambers!

RS6 Microfiber car caover

My beloved C7 has now gone, but I have a Cover that deserves a new home.

It has been used once on the car for about 4 weeks, and is now redundant.

Any sensible offers will be considered, collection in the Oxford area.

Thanks

Re: Winter car!!

Geordie, winter tyres make a huge difference, agree mechanical grip is good, but two tonnes of German technology still relies on that contact. Quattro plus winter rubber is simply amazing.

Re: Winter car!!

This as has been mentioned in many a motoring magazine, must be close to the ultimate winter car.

Give it a good wax and the bodywork will be fine.

Re: Took the plunge

MarkP, enjoy. I've been in mine a lot these last few weeks and love the car more on each journey. So much so I am looking at long journeys to take just to get out and about in it more!

Re: BREAKS, what to do!?!?

Doodlebug, I think thats the nail on the head. I had problems on steels with being too kind and easy. They cars need a workout and without detailed knowledge I believe the ceramics require heat to work best. Still Audi should deal with this as a disatisfied customer may look elsewhere next time!

Re: RS6 Tyres

On a car of this performance I would fit the precise tyre specified to be honest.

I wouldn't want a tyre burp or issue on a UK motorway or the Bahn .

Many people stocking the Mitch ss for the 21" now.

Re: Winter Wheels and Tyres

spoke to the local stealer today, last years price was a whopping £3k, when the Germans were doing them at €3k, which really does suggest some form of stealing is genuinely going on, also with that no choice on the rubber. I just got some 285/35/21' Miche Alpin sports costed out at £1.2k, much cheap...

Re: RS6 Tyres

I'd go PSS, so much better than the Dunlops. Michelin confirmed the same that as long as size and rating is correct its a tyre that will fit. R01 is as much about compound as anything so I believe.
