Re: Help All 4 wheels buckled

Sorry to hear that Scottie. I don't think people in the rest of the U.K. let alone Europe appreciate how bad most of our roads are in central Scotland. However they are the normal roads in a country Audi have many dealers and target customers. A single bent wheel would say pothole (need to claim the...

Re: New RS6 Order

The crash is an interesting one. I was stationary, waiting at the lights. He slams into the back of my bright orange Land Rover. No damage at all to the Landy - had it up on ramps today to check, not even a scratch. Golf has around £2,000 of damage IMHO He is claiming insurance. He says his insuran...

Re: Current Discounts

Spec is always amendable up until build is locked, so that's not a specific bonus. Just remember folks that more who whack the discount the more you're whacking the GFV. The spec amendable bit was more that they had a car already the system that I took over and could amend to my own spec so only a ...

I was just under 15% late March plus a spec amendable slot.

Agree- its what mine does but it did worry me. Question if put it straight in garage and leave it is the warm air recirculating likely to cause problems?

[quote="RSQ"]Trying to finalise colour then I arrive at my hotel tonight and this is parked outside. Aside from naff red bits it looks like Daytona is a winner for me. Re: Mike's Panther RS6 Performance thread

Splitter looks great Mike. I wonder if its bigger than the gloss black kit. As I've said on a few posts I regret not getting carbon largely to get the boot wavy opening thing that I have used only once to make sure it worked.
The exhaust work looks really neat to me as a layman.

Re: First 1000 miles with PE

Just passed the 1000 mile mark on the commute home tonight. Roughly one month old- all driving done commuting in traffic. My thoughts: Loving it. Real smiles per mile when I hit the throttle when traffic clears. Hard to keep to 70! Got protection film done by Robert at Incredible Detail Glasgow. He...

Re: First 1000 miles with PE

mpg for me between 10 and 15. I am being too soft as usual. My excuse is lots of traffic and long average speed roadworks. I found an efficiency display in the system which is fun to see how you can drop to low single figures on full 2nd gear throttle. Was gob smacked at this yesterday. Leaving Lon...

Re: New RS6 Order

Sounds like you have a great dealer who recognises a good customer-and gets the credit due. That said if you can be bothered pop your spec through car wow and you will get an offer along the lines Mike says I am sure. I did and my dealer matched it. I've gone Sepang and love it but saw a Mica S6 a c...
