Re: Attempted theft - what to do about damage?
Cheers everyone, The support definitely eases the pain and Sonny's personal help has been invaluable. I spent a good 2 hours cleaning out the car yesterday. Glass was in the air vents, switches, cubby holes - literally everywhere. There was even glass on the parcel shelf at the back! There's a coupl...

Re: Attempted theft - what to do about damage?
Sorry to hear your news, hope you get it sorted soon. +1 Maybe think of clear window tints to slow them getting in next time - probably Tracker they were after.... If it has to be parked on the road, thought about a wheel clamp for a more visual deterent. Glenn Instead of window tints... http://www...

Attempted theft - what to do about damage?
Hi Guys, My car was broken into last night at 2.15am. I chased the two men away on hearing the alarm (which is not very loud I might point out...). Keep an eye out in the Bromley area anyway... Not sure what they were trying to do but front passenger side window was smashed and they've attacked the ...

Re: The Rob Chorley of Camberley Audi appreciation thread
Rob's great, a real enthusiast, but Camberley are superb no matter who you get.
They made a minor mistake with mine recently and offered to pay all my petrol to go back to rectify. Great service.

Re: Tyres again - need to make a descision
I fitted Goodyear Eagle asymetric 2's. Phenonenal - great ride quality, low noise, incredible handing/steering and lovely, progressive grip. £204 fully fitted from Elite Tyres in Rainham. Youre the first person I've seen with the new Asymmetric 2s. Ive had 2 sets of the Asym 1s on my last car and t...

Re: Coil pack crisis
Had all mine replaced by Camberley Audi under recall.
Can't feel any difference whatsoever nor did I have any issues before. Just my luck the new ones will not be as reliable as the old

Re: Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2
Hi Sonny, Had them fitted over at Elite Tyres in Rainham. Worth the 40 min journey from Kent as they're service is great and they they have a Hunter force variation balancing machine. Adds £10 per wheel but well worth it. All in cost was £420 for the two (with the fancy pants balancing). Still reall...

Re: advice needed : parking ticket
Have they written to your home address? If not, deny all knowledge of the ticket. Someone could've removed it from your screen anyway. Since they've got your registration wrong they won't be able to get your home address.... If they then refer to the picture for the reg and contact you then maybe ap...

Re: Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2
In my experience, definitely. First 50 miles are the worst. I've found optimum grip doesn't actually kick in until up to a few hundred miles depending on the exact tyre. In summary, I actually feel for the first time that I'm experiencing an RS4 handling as it was designed to so highly recommended. ...

Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2
Afternoon Chaps, Not sure if anyone has posted feedback on this replacement for the old F1 Asymmetric yet. Had them fitted a couple of weeks ago for the same price as the originals (£200ea). First impressions were what I remember of F1's on my old TT. Very quiet with compliant, comfortable ride. Fir...

Re: RE: Benefits of a remap
Sorry Steve, I should've mentioned that it was cleaned and ported. Can't imagine the porting makes a huge difference (?) but who knows with the cleaning! Either way it's probably clogged up again now but still feels much quicker than before. Power went from 370ps to 431ps. Just out of interest my ca...
