Mine has just come back in from a couple of weeks at Wearside Audi following much the same - i.e. suspension fluid leaking from the rear. I got hit with a bill for £360 to carry out the diagnostic, replace the faulty shock and seals and re-pressurise the system which I didn't consider to be too bad ...

RE: Online tyre deals
No offence taken Eddie - I'd not heard of Camskill but have just had a look at their site and there are some very good prices, particularly for Vredensteins which I thought were a more expensive make than it seems

Online tyre deals
Just for info, Kwik Fit appear to have some decent deals going if you're OK with pre-booking and paying online (the website is easy to use via your car registration) - an example being Goodyear F1s in 255/35/19 Y rated with a 96 loading for around £185 a corner (plus a bit extra if you want mobile f...

Back to the actual comparison, although I have to admit I've not fallen for my RS6 (+) as much as I thought I would, one thing I can vouch for is the sure footedness over the Merc given by the Audi's 4WD system. My only Merc experience is with a C230K and even with only 200BHP the back end was waywa...

RE: Warranty Poll
Mine came with the car and is by Warranty Wise who claim (with Quentin Wilson as figurehead) that they are trying to provide a warranty without as they put it, 'the weasel words'..... Various levels of cover but the top level (Platinum) looks the part - for example under engine it just says 'engine'...

RE: DRC (again - sorry!)
Cheers guys, will see what happens when Audi have had a look at it, currently I'm just staring at a few puddles of damper oil on the floor! For reference I was a little suprised that local dealer network refused to consider direct dealing with independant warranty companies but they seem to have had...

I've tried searching but the threads are very long in the main So..... could anyone tell me if they have experience of independant warranty companies providing for coilover conversions in place of DRC r...

RE: RS6 Plus for sale
Appreciate the offer but I think I'm going to have to go mainstream, at least for a while..... (the wife suggested a Cayenne but I'll try to resist that one..)
Genuinely though, although it's not floated my boat too much, I'll really miss the sound of the RS!

RS6 Plus for sale
Hi, I'm considering selling an RS6 Plus which I actually only bought last November and have since added 1,600 miles I know this will be like blasphemy to many of you guys but I'm simply not getting on with it.... I'd badly wanted an RS6 of this model since they came out but to be honest its proving ...
