FOR SALE : RS4 B5/B6 Full Set of 18" Alloys
Hi there I have five(5) RS4 alloys that were fitted on my C6 Avant when I bought it (a shameful replacement for my RS6 C5). They are all OEM Audi wheels, four(4) of them have centre caps and all are balanced with almost new tyres (Marshal mainly and the space is unused) will sell all together/in pai...

Re: Double Din Stereo Fitting Kits
Ha ha, forgotten all about this. I went for the rubber one and modified it which i think worked best. Fixed the popping using a Autoleads PC9-408 instead of the 410. More expensive but sorted it all out. Never got the aerial sorted though, for a while I used an external one one the dash which was OK...

Wheels, Tyres & Stuff
Does anyone else have R19 8.5j ET48 Le Mans alloys on their C6 ? Appologies I'm squatting in the S6 forum in the hope that someone else is running these, I want to know if I can change the tyre sizes on the 8.5 rim ?

What Tyre Sizes
Hi can anyone tell me if I can run 245/35/R19s on 19" 8.5J ET48 wheels ? they have 255/30/R19s on them and I want to go for a narrower cheaper tyre ?
Any thoughts ?

Re: Spare Tyre
I think I'm done. Got a couple of tyre repair foams from fleabay tonight. Apparently it doesn't destroy your tyre, you just have to wash it out. Just need some bulbs and a high vis vest! I have a fire extinguisher bizarrely, left over from my days of owning a W107 500SL Merc. Now that was a V8 exper...

Re: It looks like everybody is considering or busy with sell
I think I managed 100mph on the Autobahn in a 1.2 Opel hire car once but I had to turn the aircon off to get it the last few mph/kmh.

Re: Spare Tyre
Shoppinit I think you have the best option there, I had considered that. The only thing is I don't have a repair kit or tyre foam - I'll do some research I assume its easy to get (although one thing that puts me off this is, I read somewhere that once you have used it it knackers your tyre so you lo...

Spare Tyre
I going to take my car down to France with the family and wondered if anyone had any tips/advice, in particular I'm a little anxious about getting a flat/blowout and not having a spare to get me to a garage. I thought about getting a spare wheel (because I already have a spare matching tyre) but tha...

Re: It looks like everybody is considering or busy with sell
What do you think the average ownership is for C5 RS6 now ? seems a lot of people have them for 12 months or less and sell then on. How many people have them over 2 years ? Fancy sharing your length of ownership ? It would be interesting to hear from people who have been through the DRC replacement,...

Re: Michelin PS2 (R01)
I ran Toyo Proxes on my Subaru before I joined the big RS6 league and they ran lovely, really smooth and quiet especially with a full new set. They are apparently less hard waring than the OEM types, but good grip. Also don't seem as good value as they used to be. I don't hear much on the RS forums ...
