Re: Any good offers on these?

John,

Ditto from me. Got rid of my RS3 this time last year and am looking to get back into an RS and think I can sell the practicality of the RS4 to the other half!!

Like I said - absolutely gutted to be selling. It is an awesome machine - not quite sure where I can go from here in terms of my next car - especially with limited funds, 5 doors and a boot that fits an already large dog!! No did not renew with Audi as it was pretty pricey but looked into other comp...

Gutted!!

Had the beast just over 8 months now and have enjoyed every minute with my dream car which I bought in mint condition from another member of this forum (thanks to aka_dk). Had no problems and have used it as my daily driver which has put a smile on my face every day. However, a new puppy and 2nd chi...

Dealers have now confirmed in writing that they will put things right which is good news. They say they use a company called Wheels (Hampshire based). Does anyone know of them or had any work done by them? Any comments much appreciated.

Oxford Audi. Management are aware and after sales manager is looking into it. To be fair to them they have said that they would get things sorted and refurb all 4 alloys. They seemed pretty sorry - maybe one of the plus sides of having an RS4 - they don't want to p**s us off! Not sure I would have h...

Loving The Car - Just not Audi Dealers!!!

Have been thoroughly enjoying my ownership of my RS4 - even my mother in law has been impressed with it!!. My car is high on the miles but had been maintained in immaculate condition by aka_dk. In my short time with it I have been really careful to do the same until it went in for a service on Thurs...

What a Car!!

After waiting far too long I finally joined the club today and became the proud new owner of an Avus Silver RS4. (Bought from a member of this forum). What a car!! Just got back from taking it down some country roads in the wet and tipping rain - couldn't resist. Absolutely awesome. Can't wait to ge...

Standard/Optional Spec

Am still looking for the right RS4 but could someone please clear up a couple of questions. 1. What does the auto dimming mirror feature give you? Am I correct in thinking light and rain sensors? 2. I am also unclear on what exactly comes as standard and what was an option? Am I correct in thinking ...

Have done my fair share of research - check audi, pistonheads etc nearly every day.
Sounds like good advice but looking at prices at the moment there seem to be big differences in what would appear to be very similar cars - so it is hard to know exactly where to aim when making a bid!!

Thanks for the tips - In that case me thinks I will be steering well clear then!
The search continues!! (but in no rush so will wait for a good one)
Do we think the new RS5 is likely to have a negative effect on RS4 values in the near future?

Guys, have seen a couple I quite fancy (dark blue and grey saloon) advertised with autoprestige. Are they reputable? It is just they both seem to have been on a long while (especially the blue one) so wondered if there was something wrong with them?

Easier said than done!!
Any advice on essential spec to have and if there was any difference between 06 & 07 cars?

RE: Buying A New RS4

Damn thought I had got away with the edit before anyone spotted it - Very sharp victor2vt!! Thanks guys. Looking for a Daytona Grey or Mugello Blue saloon and that was my next question - how much do you think I can push for off list price at an Audi dealer? Anyone had any experience of a good haggle?
