Black RS6 Plus & Red RS6 - Sussex
27/3/11 Plus was going north on A24 from Washington Roundabout (9:45ish?) - I think it was a Plus - black optics, looked real cool, but couldn't get Reg as armco was in the way - I was doing a time trial (f*ing cyclists :o) ) going southbound. Red 6 was going West on A272 around Cowfold as I made my...

Exactly - sounds like my ex's <beep> too.Gravitypilot wrote:it sounds just like a mates dialbo very similar, i love this noise!Rupert wrote:Sounds terrible, especially from inside the car.

Is it just the camera or is the car accelerating incredibly slowly for all that noise when joining carriageways..?

Re: RE: God bless Bilstein
 The PSS9s are great. So are the PS2s. What's a 'weighting'? I believe (but don't quote me) that they weigh each corner of the car and adjust the weight to ensure every corner is the same, thus making the car more stable... I'll find out more on Monday and get a nice print out which hopeful...

So, PSS9's fitted and full set of PS2 rubbers. :D Had a little run down to Eastbourne and back today - all feeling good. Getting full geometry and weighting done on Monday, so see how much difference that makes. Also let the billies settle a little. Really pleased with the change already though! Fol...

RE: Should I come back now or later?
I've always wanted a Cerbera too - well, ever since the Clarkson drag race where it whooped everything... I followed one home last night on the motorbike and could feel its exhaust through my bones. Whilst I'm sure they are poo and won't be as reliable as the 6 I still want one. Do it - you only liv...

I had my PSS9's installed yesterday and the car is transformed into a smooth and comfortable ride. A million miles away from the rattle cage which a failed DRC suspension imparts on the car! The trickiest part was a few seized bolts, but a bit of WD40 and some GRRRR and everything came apart nicely...

The instructions appear to be as useful as a Cadbury's welder but I've had a play with the dial. It appears that there is a tiny blue mark above the dial, and so I assume it is set at 9. Turning to the "+" direction moves it down to 1. It doesn't feel like there is any notch to indicate you've moved...

Re: RE: Christmas all over again
Cool. They are pretty when they are new. This might help for installing them: http://www.rs246.com/index.php?name=PNphpBB2&file=viewtopic&t=81926 Cheers for that. I did read through it a couple of times (thanks for the write up) and whilst I do fancy doing it myself, its having the space and time, ...

Does the C5 have a "you've left your lights on warning&
As per title, I'm wondering whether the car has an audible noise when you leave your headlights on? I'm sure it did, but it doesn't work now if it did, so just wanted to check with others to start the investigation off. And if it does, is there a switch or something that I've accidentally pressed to...
