Re: Cooling modifications for track work on B5 RS4?

Awesome, seems to be for s4 though? Aren’t the rs4 oil cooler connected to the rs4 radiator?
Perhaps a more efficient radiator will make the stock oil cooler work better?

I’ve heard about people getting a gearbox cooler do you have any suggestions?

Awesome tips! Really nice :)

Re: Cooling modifications for track work on B5 RS4?

Humm good ideas and good feedback the car is abit old now so it could be that a new radiator would be an idea. Perhaps a aftermarket one and then an aftermarket oilcooler also? If i want to change to a cooler termostat are there anyone that has done so already and can chip in with the results? Also ...

Cooling modifications for track work on B5 RS4?

Hello there. I have done some track driving with my RS4 but it gets pretty hot pretty quickly. After a couple of laps the water temperature is starting to creep up also. I'm betting there are others with the same issue? What have you done to solve it? I emailed MRC but haven't had a response yet, i'...

Original steering wheel Spline size.

Hello everyone. Among other things they noticed that the steering wheel was "sloppy"/had play in it . They ordered a new steering wheel but had the same issue. They managed to fix it by bolting on an RS6 wheel which is how it sits now. I was under the impression that the spline size was the same for...

Injectors and BTR ?

Anyone know what kind of injector you are looking at if you want to go past 480 bhp? Also what kind of BTR are people running?

RE: Re: RE: Heavy weight gear knob

yes JHMotorsport one seems nice. Although i wouldn't buy it if you plan on using the car on cold days since its steel. They have a tendency to be abit on the cold side :P

Hummmm i havent had any issues with destroyed wheels. They do dust alot though so you have to wash the wheels/car pretty often :(

Regarding heat issues so yea the drawback of runing a pretty aggresive pad on stock calipers and discs :(

RE: RS4 B5 Brake Pad Upgrade

I use Carbotech XP8 front and rear.
Done a few trackdays with RBF600 brake fluid. No fade what so ever.
Greatly recommended.

Re: RE: Alignment?

I had this problem. I changed the suspension then had the car realigned. Expensive but worth it! Hummm yea. Im poundering though if its just the RS4 chassi setup that does it or if its my alignment. My car has only done 112 000 miles so dampers and the like should be fresh and i cant feel any issue...
