Hi Does anyone know the difference in litres between the minimum and maximum marker on the bbk 4.2 v8 engine? I know these engines take 8.5 litres of oil and i have been told that the difference is 3 litres from min to max but that doesnt sound right to me Any advice would be very much appreciated T...

Spoke to austrin engineering, advised i get the car to them ASAP, said that it doesnt take alot of slippage to destroy the clutches. They will diagnose it/road test it for £35

lets see what happens!

Any thing else that is common i can tell them to look out for?

Hi im going to look at a set of rs6 wheel tonight. Seller claims they are genuine 9x19 wheels, tyres look to be the wrong size 255/40/19 instead of the 255/35/19. They are local so going over tonight, havn't asked the seller for the part number but he says they are stamped audi and have a number on....

POOR, very POOR. I put them on my rs6 just before i traded it in.. Thought they were terrible, car ddnt feel anywhere near as stiff as with the DRC, also handled worse!

Wouldn't recommend them, they were only 650 quid or so......next time id spend the money and get better bilsteins!

I put FK's on my rs6 as they were the cheapest. From memory £650ish supplied.The ride wasn't the best with them. Felt alot softer than the standard set up.

If i was keeping the car i would have went for different ones, but i needed it fixed to be able to sell it on.

Hi guys, been reading a lot on here about gearboxes so thought it would be best to check my atf. Can't see anything in the owners manual and can't find anything under the boNnet? Anyone know how to check it and if it needs to be warm or cold?
