Dead battery
It looks like my battery has a dead cell, and so needs replacing. My local Audi garage have quoted nearly £200 to replace, which seems rather high. Has anyone got any suggestions as to where to get a replacement battery fitted. Also, does anyone know what type / size battery is required, or any sugg...

The fella at Opie Oils said it was the ester content which helped. He said I could go for 5w 30 or 5w 40 so I went for the latter (thicker) to be sure. Mine's done more then twice your mileage. You might wanna get a bespoke recommendation from them but I'd have thought they'd suggest the same. Than...

For the first time since I've had it (45k, 3 yrs) I've needed to top up my car with oil - no idea why as my driving hasnt changed. Anyway, I looked into the oil it uses: the local Audi garage uses Castrol SLX 5W-30 (about £21 for a litre bottle), which in Halfords retails as Castrol Edge (about £17 ...

Thanks BlingBling. I phoned up the warranty company yesterday, and they have agreed to send out an engineer to inspect the bushes. Whilst I can understand that they would wear gradually over time, to have to be replaced at 70k odd does seem rather premature. Has anyone else had to replace their susp...

The vibration is related to road speed, rather than revs. It seems to happen at about 20/30/40/50 mph, as you are slowly accelerating up. Its less obvious if you are accelerating hard. Also, the vibration seems to be throughout the car, rather than just through the steering wheel. It certainly seems...

Upper trailing suspension arm bushes
Hi everyone I've got a S4 on a 05 plate, and its done about 70k. For a while now, there has been a vibration as you drive up through from about 30 up. I had the wheel balancing double checked, but that came back fine. I had my local Audi dealer check it out, and they have told me that both front upp...
