Audi can do it for you with the disks still attached to the car, an Aberdeen member on here had it done.
I saw the disks afterwards and looked good, wasn't that expensive either.

Mines did this as well was very intermittent and only worked every second time I tried it.

Had the oil and filter changed in my gearbox today and sadly its still the same. It's still slipping at low speeds, seems to be fine once your up and rolling but occasionly jumps out of gear did about 20 miles in it in a last gasp hope that it would come good but got steadily worse until I nursed it...

Thanks lads hopefully an oil and filter change (booked into volkscentre Paul) will sort it out, trying not to think about it until next week as i've got a million things on at the moment, house alterations, kids, work, etc! If its my whole box and not just the TC any ideas on where to get a replacem...

We did this and it came back straight away after a quick drive, I've got it booked in for a look and oil change but not until next week.

My gearbox started playing up today, it started banging into second at low speeds and has got steadily worse until any more than 1500 / 200 rpm and it jumps out of gear then bangs into gear and the gearshift lights on the dash all go a solid red colour! It happened on a really steep hill first time ...

Totally agree that sh*t will make you stooopid! I did'nt spend thousand's of pounds on top of the range audio visual equipment to watch a bunch of halfwits make a fool of themselves on it.

Don't tempt me, she's already gone up stairs in the huff cos I wouldnt let her watch Big Brother on MY big telly!
