The Milltek sounds OK?-- but I am currently looking for an exhaust with driver controlled valves -- then it can be REALLY noisy for when I`m in the mood to frighten everyone -- or nice and subdued for the longer runs -- (where the booming REALLY gets on your nerves).

I have a resonated Milltek fitted -- it is significantly louder (bassy) at tickover and slightly louder throughout the range. It is however a bit boomy at 70 - 80 mph - which I find annoying when cruising at these speeds. 09 RS6 saloon

Has anyone experienced excessive harmonic patter or "rumble" (on top of the normal tyre whoosh) on all but the very smoothest surface. This seems to start at appox 20mph.

I am looking for an aftermarket exhaust system for my 2009 RS6 (C6) saloon. Does anybody know of a system with two position driver operated valve -- so that the "volume" can be altered between loud and "acceptable" (for long trips). I am aware that Capristo already make such an item for the RS4
