cornishmooster if your rs6 is not 550hp wont it struggle against a new m5 if looking at the utube video the rs6 is slower than the old m5... or am i missing something?

ok im rambling now... as i said i am aware of the practicality etc of the rs6 im just talking speed terms like an e55 amg estate can carry a sofa has 476bhp yet is much quicker than a 500bhp rs6 estate in a straight line, How can this be? i should probably mention also that i am not knocking the rs6 one bit as i know it has (alot) of plus points and strengths its just as i said i dont get if it is 500bhp why it cant beat a 400hp m5 (if that makes sense)
