Were they not galvanised from new? If so rust could be crash damage, also, if he knows the colour is so good surely he should know how to spell it properly! Lol

Been lookin for a while and wouldn't even veiw that just on the strength of the ad! :)

I posted in the cam wear good news post, are the exhaust housings on the turbo in line with the lobes which wear out?

There a mine field from what I've seen! :( wet carpet probably overflowing scuttle panel area, only needs cleaning out! Grinder marks point to severe body work, probably done badly! :( brakes around 1k for full replace from vag parts, diy, 1.5k from dealers afaik no excuse for no.4 bad/cheap body re...

I've just read all the way through the last 10 pages and it's very interesting when your looking to buy a car like this! :) I'd probably go for cars being used on the track as a likely cause for this cam wear issue, as mentioned by Mrc doug, a failing maf can cause higher EGT's what about 10-20 minu...
