Re: Finally got an RS

http://www.laserjammer.net/2013/uk-driver-fined-1300-for-using-laser-jammer/ I would watch out for plod reading this link. I would never admit to having one, although I had a friend who fitted the park assist to his RS6 and it worked on one occasion. I think the French police confiscate cars they f...

Guy down the road swapped a few months back and absolutely loves it. Presumably the Capristos will be tran...

Re: Sepang blue with V-spokes....

Never tried Armourshield but I'll look it up. Cleaned the wheels today and the Nano Sealer looks to be doing the job. Pretty much all the brake dust came off with just a pressure wash. The Clean and Seal is supposed to preserve the sealing over time so I'll see how it goes. Thanks northernpar - I'l...

Re: Sepang blue with V-spokes....

Beautiful car - love the colour.

V spokes are stunning although they are a total pain in the arse to clean but worth it for the three hours of motoring before they get dirty again.
Anyone got any ideas apart from hiring a permanent valet?

Take the focus and heat off the new car by telling her your having an affair.

Used my all this week and has cost me quite bit in fuel.
If I add the sun cream and petrol bills together, a weekend's driving cost would get me a return ticket to Ibiza. But I would rather be in me mow-tar.

RS5 Cabriolet

I have had the new cab for about six weeks now and love it. I was worried about the elephantine depreciation bill incurred by buying new, but driving in this weather takes the pain away. I was thinking about buying second hand early next year to save mullah but thankfully there is no cognitive disso...

Re: Any RS5 owners here have children?

I don't, but a mate had an RS5 an he's got two lads, 8 and 11ish. He said it was as practical as a kick in the balls. The RS5 is a school bus compared to the R8. I have 7 year old twins and they are very happy in the back of the cabriolet. They never asked me to take them to school in the R8 - funn...

Re: SQ5

Thank you Jose.
Forgive me if I've got this wrong but as I understand it, this is something I could ( if available) instal in a fiat 500 and make it sound like a V8? I think this a tad naff. I had a 3.0 TDI remapped A6 with ABT sports exhaust and it sounded wonderful no artificiality there.

Re: SQ5

Test drove and SQ5 and liked it.
Bit confused about the artificially enhanced sound - what does that mean?
In terms of performance, it didn't feel much faster than my remapped 3.0 litre Q5 and it sounded revvyer.
Despite this I will probably get one next year cos overall I liked it.
